Currently when he is appearing as a judge on the reality show Dance Champions opposite Terence Lewis. His first movie as a director, F.A.L.T.U, was a moderate success at the box office. He made India’s first 3D dance movie, ABCD – AnyBody Can Dance, with contestants from season 1 and season 2 of Dance India Dance (Dharmesh Yelande, Punit Pathak, Salman Yusuff Khan, Raghav Juyal, Prince and others), Prabhu Deva and Lauren Gottlieb. My Gut Feel (MGF) and comments:
You just have to find that thing that’s special about you that distinguishes you from all the others, and through true talent, hard work, and passion, anything can happen.
The above statement defines the journey of Remo D’Souza who is a passionate dancer and exceptional choreographer. As far as his film direction skills are concern, he performs below average when he directs films like F.A.L.T.U (2011), Tiger Shroff starrer A Flying Jatt (2016) and Salman Khan starrer Race 3 (2018) however when it comes to dancing based films ABCD and ABCD 2 he done his job reasonably well. And I certain, upcoming movie Street dancer 3 will also not disappoint. Originally believed to be a sequel to Disney’s ABCD 2, the film was taken off the title due to Disney’s exit from Indian film production with UTV Motion Pictures being shut down and was instead renamed to its current title after Bhushan Kumar took over. ABCD franchise is grown strength to strength where from ABCD to Street Dancer scale has increased in all aspects beat production value, star cast or other aspects especially related to dance sequences. Street Dancer would be shown on a big screen in 3D which will be a delightful experience for the audience likewise ABCD 2.  One more aspect goes in the advantage of this franchise that although the core premise remains dancing however Remo D’Souza does ensure a storyline which able to connect to the audience and creates an impact. This surely resulted in commercial success eventually as the overall package becomes effective.
By the time of the release of Street Dancer on 24th January, Ajay Devgn starrer Tanhaji would enter its third-week post-release who is doing exceptional business at the box office. However, Kangna starrer Panga is also releasing on 24th January which would in a way give competition to Street Dancer at the box office for sure. The credibility of ABCD franchise, exceptional dance sequences with 3D effects, Varun Dhawan and other star cast surely created enough buzz among the youngsters. I am confident of good business at the box office.

Going by My Gut Feeling (MGF), I am giving Street Dancer 3D 3 stars out of 5 one week before the release. 2.5 stars for the story and choreography. An additional point five star for 3D effect which should take viewing experience of dance moves to the next level in comparison to ABCD and ABCD 2.
